Service Dogs in Training

OVSD and Hope View School partner with Guide Dogs of America/Tender Loving Canines.  We host puppies in training at Hope View. They come to school daily, in the library or in a classroom, hosted by staff members.  Volunteer puppy raisers are tasked to teach these dogs house manners (they live with the staff who are the raisers), basic obedience, and socialization.  The Hope View puppies visit classrooms and are at all school events.

Our puppies are an integral part of our school PBIS program.
